The full access plan is best suited to medium to large employers with more than 50 employees and offers the ultimate levels of investment and insured benefit flexibility. It also applies an integrated and independent consulting model to meet more needs and deliver better value to all stakeholders. This plan allows for:

  • a choice of four management committee default investment strategies
  • member investment choice which includes 30 different portfolios
  • management committee choice investment strategy from the range of portfolios approved by the trustees
  • your own fund bank account
  • extensive reporting such as cashflow and EFA
  • an independent financial adviser
  • one (or more) formal annual meetings with participating employers and management committees to discuss important fund matters

The select access plan is suitable for small businesses (SMEs) looking for basic benefits for more than 15 employees. A minimum of five members must participate in the fund. As a result of economies of scale, this plan’s value lies in its cost effectiveness. It is a structured, package offering that requires no management committee. It offers:

  • one investment option: AF Retirement Navigator
  • one of four life and disability insurance solutions
  • a centralised bank account
  • an independent financial adviser
  • one formal annual telephonic or virtual meeting to discuss important fund matters
  • ongoing email and telephonic support
